David Galeai is a 3× World Fire Knife Champion (1999, 2000 & 2003) and one of Hawaiʻi’s most respected cultural ambassadors. His family helped pioneer Siva Afi — the traditional art of fire knife dancing — and that heritage lives in every performance.
Every show is led by trained fireknife dancers and supported by live Polynesian drummers, never pre-recorded tracks. Our performers wear traditional lava-lavas, leis, and ceremonial attire, and we coordinate fire safety and setup with your venue well in advance.
From intimate five-minute showcases to full cultural ceremonies with coconut husking and fire-making, we tailor every experience to your event and your guests.

Laie Drummers Core
The official house drummers of the World Fire Knife Champions — LDC has performed at fire knife competitions across the globe, including New Zealand, Australia, the Cook Islands, Japan, and throughout the United States.
Although LDC specializes in Siva Afi drumming, they bring beats and rhythms from across the Pacific, preserving traditional sound while mentoring the next generation of drummers. Dedicated to community, professionalism, and excellence in all endeavors.
